A word from the MixCity Board

Hello and welcome!

We are delighted to welcome you to the Association BNP Paribas MixCity website and to share our commitment with you.

Our association operates as a “network,” with the goal of providing our members with a wide range of opportunities to meet, discuss and share.

We feel that the dynamism of the network is particularly valuable in the current social context:

-          Women’s networks have flourished in recent years and efforts to unite their activities are starting to bear fruit;

-          A number of surveys conducted by these networks on this subject have recently been published, and their conclusions are challenging received wisdom;

-          In recent months, the media has shone a spotlight on the “French paradox:” while France holds the #1 position in the world in terms of women’s access to education and health, the country trails at only #53 in terms of gender equality in the workplace.

BNP Paribas has been demonstrating its commitment to gender equality since 2004, in particular through its support for MixCity, the Group’s network for women executives that plays an essential role in guiding the Group’s thinking and proposals.

By transforming itself into a not-for-profit association, MixCity has taken on a new dimension and is signposting its ambition to triumph over the challenges faced by women in our society.

The more of us who actively identify with the association and participate in its activities, the more impact these will have and the more this network will play its part in encouraging integration and stimulating community spirit.
