BNP Pariba’s women networks community enlarges! Set up at the Brussel’s BELvue museum, the “woman Changing Inida” exhibition offered original surroundings to the MixCity Belgium official launching, on the 14th of OctobAer 2011.
Any person working for BNP Paribas Fortis can join the network: women and men, whether they are managers or not. The objective is clear: MixCity Belgium aims to reinforce women’s visibility within the company, as well as to improve diversity at all levels.
This new structure could not have been created without Max Jadot’s support, Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Fortis.

MixCity Belgium’s board is currently composed of 8 women, coming from different activities and functions, with very diverse profiles. Among them, Ilse Haest, Finance Transformation Manager within BNP Paribas Fortis, volunteered as the first MixCity Belgium’s chairwoman. The board will welcome new members to accompany its development during the next few months.

The Mixcity Belgium launching is a step forward for BNP Paribas on the diversity path. The Group actions in favour of female careers have been rewarded by the Challenges magazine : BNP Paribas reached the 6th rank of the “CAC 40 best employers for women ranking”.
